Mendoza Day 2

This was our best day in Mendoza.

We left around 11 in the morning to drive south for about an hour and a half into the Uco Valley. Our destination was wine tasting lunch at Andeluna cellars. In early November when we organized our visit to Mendoza for wine tasting we had no idea how this would turn out. It seemed like a good idea to do only one thing the day we reserved a wine tasting lunch that day.

Our table was outside on the terrace with a view of their vineyards.

It turned out to be absolutely fantastic both charming people lovely, no, incredible ambience and an amazing meal well presented paired with super wines.

Just about didn’t make it back to the Hyatt as the familiar low fuel light came on just as we found one of the few gas station in the area.

Stopped by a vineyard to take a photo for our Norton cousins.Mendoza

The capper of the day was that the immense and extravagant wedding party at the Hyatt. Outside of the terrace area off the bar and breakfast room hosted cocktails for the guests, one of their enormous function rooms was set up for dancing with lights and sound system and the courtyard area was the formal seating for the meal. Amazingly enough, though there were 100s of guests it was very quiet and we slept peacefully, as tomorrow was our return trip over the Andes Pass again.
