Ventura Markets

We will be returning to France in less than 12 days.

I have enjoyed discovering the local markets in our area this winter, whether it be the Farmers Market packed full of wonderful fresh veggie, the weekly Wednesday Flea Market at the Ventura County Fairgrounds or the recently discovered Topanga Vintage Market.

It’s been a wonderful winter.

Topanga Vintage Market

I’ve just discovered this newcomer to Vintage Flea Markets.

Topanga Vintage Market

Topanga Vintage Market

It’s held the fourth Sunday of every month and is really excellent.

You win some, you loose some…

I’m really enjoying going to the weekly Wednesday Flea Market in Ventura.
I usually manage to find at least one little something.

Lovely mesh bag I regret not having bought

Lovely mesh bag I regret not having bought

This week, I am kicking myself for not having bought
this lovely mesh bag when I saw it.

But I did get these lovely knives.

But I did get these lovely knives.

And I’m very pleased with my purchase of these silver plated knives marked GDR.
The GDR stamp dates these knives between 1949 to 1990
which is known as the former Eastern territories of Germany.

Ojai Farmers Market

We are so fortunate to have a wonderful Farmers Market every Sunday.

The Ojai Market has one vendor that is very unique.
See if you can find out what I’m referring to.

Gasny

This was my last Brocante of 2012 as we were returning home
(more like fleeing the foul weather) in August.

Grandvilliers

This was the first year that I’ve gone to Granvilliers in the Oise.
It’s about 75 minutes from us.
It advertises over 2,000 vendors.
The weather was rainy and cool but still the turn-out was very good.

Oh, to not be restricted by the size of our suitcases.
What a beauty

I will definitely do this one again!
